This November, inspire curiosity and gratitude with our featured Holiday Evo and Ari lessons! Explore the science of changing seasons and the life cycle of plants through fun, hands-on activities. Whether focusing on creativity, gratitude, or computational thinking, these lessons offer a great opportunity to learn and create during this special time.
Evo Lessons

Run Turkey, Run!
This Thanksgiving, it’s up to your students to save the turkey! Using addition and subtraction skills, they’ll help their Ozobot Turkey escape before it gets caught. By applying Point Counter Color Codes, students guide their turkey on an adventure.
- Grades: K-2
- Subjects: Math, Computer Science
- Academic Standards: CCSS, CSTA, ISTE
Turkey Trot
Students will help Ozobot compete in the Turkey Trot by first designing a race track and then using Ozobot Blockly to program its route to the finish line!
- Grades: K-2
- Subjects: Computer Science, Engineering/Tech
- Academic Standards: CCSS, NGSS, ISTE
Thanksgiving Feast
Students will teach Ozobot about traditional Thanksgiving foods by programming a path using direction and timer color codes. They’ll also reinforce reading and writing skills through a Thanksgiving journey.
- Grades: K-2
- Subjects: Computer Science, ELA
- Academic Standards: CCSS, ISTE, CSTA
Turkey Art with Ozobot
Students will use Ozobot to create abstract turkey art through a blend of coding and creativity. They will begin by attaching a 3D pen holder to their Ozobot, then use Ozobot Blockly to program its wheels and motors, turning movement into a design.
- Grades: 3-5
- Subjects: Computer Science, Art
- Academic Standards: NGSS, CSTA, ISTE
Giving Back to the Community
Students can celebrate the season of gratitude by teaming up to design a community service project and use Ozobot to build a 3D demo to show how they can make a difference!
- Grades: 3-5
- Subjects: Math, Science, Computer Science, Engineering/Tech
- Academic Standards: NGSS, CSTA, ISTE
Let’s Talk About Gratitude
Students can share what they’re thankful for this Thanksgiving! Learners will program a randomizer in Ozobot Blockly, draw images of what they’re grateful for, and share their ideas in a group.
- Grades: 3-5
- Subjects: Computer Science, SEL/Digital Citizenship
- Academic Standards: CSTA
Seasons Changing
Students will apply their understanding of life and earth sciences to complete sentences about seasonal changes, then use Color Codes to program a path that guides Ozobot through the seasons.
- Grades: 3-5
- Subjects: Computer Science, Science
- Academic Standards: NGSS, ISTE, CSTA

Gratitude Party: A Thanksgiving Activity
Students will identify what they’re thankful for, then build 3D shapes, including a flower, pyramid, cube, and triangular prism to place along Ozobot’s path. Then, they’ll add Color Codes to guide the bot to a festive Gratitude Party.
- Grades: 2-5
- Subjects: Social Studies, Engineering/Tech, SEL/Digital Citizenship
- Academic Standards: CCSS, CSTA, ISTE
Ari Lessons

Plant Life Cycles
Students will program Ari to represent each stage of the plant life cycle, from seed to flower. Using Color Codes and sequencing language, they’ll build scientific models while blending coding with biology.
- Grades: PK-1
- Subjects: Science, Computer Science
- Academic Standards: CSTA, NGSS

Stargazing with Ari
In this STEM lesson, students apply their coding skills and knowledge of biology to create scientific models. They program Ari to represent each stage of the plant life cycle—from seed to flower—using color codes and sequencing language.
- Grades: 1-2
- Subjects: Science, Computer Science, Engineering/Tech
- Academic Standards: ISTE, CSTA, NGSS

Meet Ari: The Ozobot Editor (K-4)
Explore the Ozobot Editor and learn how to program Ari using block-based coding. Students put their new skills into action by creating and running a custom program that makes Ari perform a fun sequence!
- Grades: K-4
- Subjects: Computer Science, Engineering/Tech
- Academic Standards: ISTE, CSTA
