May was packed with creativity, collaboration, and coding as classrooms found inventive new ways to bring Ozobot Evos into their lessons. From navigating community maps to celebrating reading milestones, educators and students alike proved that learning is always more fun when robots are involved. Here are some of our favorite OzoThings from this month!

Kindergarteners put their coding skills to the test by programming their Ozobot Evos to navigate a community map — stopping at the park, bank, restaurant, and more. Working in teams, students designed multiple routes, bringing early computational thinking to life in the most creative way.

Ms. Hunter’s class made SOL review anything but ordinary by bringing Ozobot Evos into the mix. Students read passages, answered questions, and coded paths — with the first bot to reach the “Win” tile taking the round!

Elementary students at Irving Libraries logged over 5,000 reading minutes in March to celebrate Read Across America — and earned their very own Ozobots in return! Their classrooms also topped the charts for total minutes logged, winning pizza parties to cap off an unforgettable month of reading and robotics.

Ms. Vallio’s class brought their math lesson to life by putting Ozobot Evo to work solving addition and subtraction problems. Students coded their robots through hands-on challenges, turning number practice into an engaging, movement-based experience.

Pre-K through 1st grade students at Springdale Elementary used Ozobot Evos to explore foundational coding concepts, learning how color codes can control a robot’s speed and direction.

Students at Macon discovered the exciting world of color coding and programming right in their own library, diving into hands-on activities that introduced them to the foundational concepts of computer science.
Thank you to all our educators who shared their students’ creations. We love seeing your ideas and creativity come to life. Keep the STEAM activities and ideas coming, and don’t forget to tag @Ozobot or use #Ozobot in your posts for a chance to be featured in our next roundup of favorite #OzoThings.
