From constructing an Ozobot Neighborhood, to competing in an Ozobot Pylon Push, June has been full of students enjoying hands-on learning that blends coding with creativity, making the end of the school year and the start of summer camp truly memorable! Dive into the exciting activities that took place this month with Ozobot.

Which One is it? STEM Activity
Ms. Wolfgang’s first-grade students coded their Ozobots to categorize pictures as goods or services, mixing their love for computer science and economics within the same lesson!

This fourth grade classroom learned about The Global Goals. Each group selected a book to study and created PSAs to teach others how to work towards their chosen goal by programming an Ozobot to navigate their poster. We were so impressed by these young activists!

This classroom put their STEM skills to the test! In their Ozobot Pylon Push challenge, students competed for the fastest time and programmed their Ozobots to push eight pylons out of a circle using a custom push bar made from recycled materials. How impressive!

Students at Alief Science Summer STEM Camp were taught how to code and write stories using Color Codes and Ozobots!

These young scientists from grades K-2 and 3-5 had an incredible time experimenting with programming their Ozobots using Color Codes and learning about Evo’s hardware.

The kids at the Thunderbirds Branch Boys & Girls Club used Ozobot robots during their breakout session called Mighty Makers to learn the basics of coding and robotics in a fun and interactive way without needing a computer.

These students built the ultimate cobot neighborhood! From designing various buildings and vehicle costumes for Evo to assembling their city complete with trees and billboards, they wowed us!

Today was this classroom’s last day with the Ozobot kits. Students did an amazing job writing Color Codes for Evo to follow. Many students even wanted to bring their obstacle courses home!
