January OzoThings: creative ways students used Ozobot

January OzoThings

January was packed with STEM excitement as students of all ages explored coding, creativity, and robotics with Ozobot! From programming handmade maps to using bowling to learn fractions and bringing stories to life, they put their skills to the test in fun and engaging ways. Check out this month’s OzoThings highlights!

January OzoThings: third graders are introduced to Ozobot

Get to Know Evo

These third graders are diving into STEM with Ozobot for the first time. From the “Get to Know Evo” lesson to testing Ozobot’s special moves, they jumped right into programming.

January OzoThings: third and fourth graders learning coding basics

Coding Basics

At Stratford Preparatory School, these third and fourth-graders are diving into the exciting world of coding with Ozobot! They sparked their creativity by programming Evo using color codes. What an incredible way to kick off their robotics journey!

January OzoThings: fifth grade students use coding for history

Coding History

It was an exciting day at Furr Elementary School as students dove into coding with Ozobot, programming their way through history!

4th grade students use Ozobot to program their bots to navigate around Camp Green Lakes

Great Lake Maps

The fourth graders at Hidden Lake Elementary brought a novel to life through coding! Using Ozobot, they programmed their bots to navigate their handmade Camp Green Lake maps.

Students us OzoBlockly to navigate their bots through Candyland

Candyland Adventure

These students elevated their coding skills to new heights! From designing intricate 3D mazes to crafting creative Candyland-inspired maps, Ozobot embarked on an exciting and imaginative journey.

7th grade students make an algorithm for a sporting event

Game On!

These seventh-grade students focused on constructing algorithms using Ozobot Color Code Magnets to design a course for their sporting event. They then brought their creations to life by programming Ozobot to navigate the course.

Fifth grade students use Ozobot for bowling

Strike!

These fifth-grade students used Ozobot to play bowling as part of an activity to complete the first step in finding equivalent fractions.

6th grade students use their programming and science skills to make Ozobots mimic the earth's rotation

Exploring Space

These sixth-grade students applied their programming and scientific knowledge to make Ozobots mimic the Earth’s rotation and the Moon’s orbit around the Sun. They had a blast exploring space and coding simultaneously!

Thank you to all our educators who shared their students’ creations. We love seeing your ideas and creativity come to life.
