September OzoThings

Back-to-School OzoThings

As the new school year kicked off across the country, classrooms buzzed with the excitement of STEM exploration. From tackling complex math challenges to life cycles and robot communities, students dove into hands-on learning with energy and creativity. Using Evo and Ari robots, students were actively engaged—designing, coding, and building projects.

Check out this month’s featured STEAM activities with Ozobot!

Chemistry Concepts

A group of seventh graders at Fowler Middle School put their Summit learning into action by programming Ozobot to follow a path that helped them count atoms. They brought chemistry concepts to life through hands-on coding and creativity!

Life Cycles

Ms. DeLaTorre’s students used Evo robots to explore plant and animal life cycles. They incorporated props like butterflies and leaves to represent different stages, and programmed their bots with color codes to illustrate each part of the cycle.

Late for School!

Ms. Estlow’s classroom kicked off the school year with excitement by diving into Ozobot x Cyber.org lessons. Students jumped into favorites like “Late for School!” and “Dot’s First Day on the Internet,” using color coding and programming with Evo robots to build essential STEM skills.

Exploring Georgia

Ms. Hinton’s third-grade students researched different regions of Georgia and used what they learned to design custom paths for their Ozobots, making geography lessons fun, hands-on, and engaging!

All about Weather

This first-grade classroom learned about different types of weather, including sunny, windy, rainy, and even tornadoes, by taking their bot on an exciting journey through each condition.

Ozobot Community

In this tech class, second graders explored community problems using their Ozobots. After designing their own communities, they applied engineering, teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills to find solutions to real-world challenges

Mathematicians

In Ms. Glass’s fifth-grade classroom, students tackled order of operations problems by programming Ozobot to follow specially designed paths that matched their solutions.

Exploring the Ocean

Mrs. Ward’s 6th-grade science students have been learning how robots can assist in cleaning up the ocean. Today, they built on their coding skills using Ozobots and Ocean Explorer mats. It’s inspiring to watch them collaborate and persevere to perfect their code!

Thank you to all our educators who shared their students’ creations. We love seeing your ideas and creativity come to life. Keep the STEAM activities and ideas coming, and don’t forget to tag @Ozobot or use #Ozobot in your posts for a chance to be featured in our next roundup of favorite #OzoThings.
