Summer is here and we can’t wait to share all of the amazing STEAM projects we’ve seen this month for the June edition of OzoThings! From creating a racetrack for Evo, to learning about soil, June has been filled with an abundance of learning and fun!
While we know school is out and it’s time for summer fun, there are still so many wonderful ways to keep up your coding skills! Check out some of our favorite photos and videos of Ozobot STEAM activities shared on Twitter from June!
Augmented Reality and Butterflies
Kindergartners in the East Williston School District identified and coded the life cycle of a butterfly. Using Evo they were able to stop at all the prominent stages in a butterfly’s life up until it is ready to fly away. Students then used Augmented Reality to see their butterflies all grown up. Check out this awesome lesson in Ozobot Classroom!
Go Evo, go!
How fast can Evo go? Karen Pfeffer, has been hard at work with her 2nd grade (grade level?) students at New Hartford Elementary, creating racetracks for Evo to test just how fast Evo can really go! The students drew out the racetrack using Color Codes to help Evo zoom through the course.

Ozobot Educators are in the Building
The Ozobot team has entered the zoom room! Our very own Jen Maher and Anthony Delos Santos joined a virtual chat with a very excited third grade class to teach them more about Ozobot and answer all their questions! Thank you Brian Paul and Bellingham Elementary School for having us!
Check out Brian’s Twitter to find out more about what he is doing in the classroom!
OzoLand
Welcome to OzoLand! Created by second and third graders at Brant Hills Public School in Ontario, OzoLand is filled with fun 3D shapes for Evo to weave through while following the path students created. What a fun and innovative way to use Color Codes!
Layers of Soil with Evo
Third graders at Chris Yung Elementary reviewed the three basic layers of soil with Evo! Using Color Codes, they were able to identify the different layers and practice their skills. Check out the lesson here!
Thank you to all our educators who shared their students’ creations. We love seeing all of your ideas and creativity! Keep the wonderful ideas coming, and be sure to tag @Ozobot or #Ozobot in your creations this summer for a chance to be featured in our next roundup of favorite #OzoThings.
